Hi, I’m YuRong (YR). I believe design is a framework to help us illuminate the essentials and define the critical points systematically from different aspects more than just a beautiful solution.
Being moderately physically challenged in hearing, I'm thrilled to devote myself to humanize the world we live, moreover, to advocate an equitable access to culture and technology, create an inclusive society.
Having experiences in both
product management and product design
over the past 6 years, I’m collaborative and empathized with a perspective-taking mindset to coordinate with different partners.
I lead the design of WeWork’s occupancy map that benefits the selling and hospitality efficiency; I renovated the China Airline app to unite travelers' O2O experience and the business opportunities; I integrated the multi-platform video experience of China Telecom; I redesign the EVA AIR website for an inclusive traveler experience; I design a brand new third-party payment service experience in the fintech area; I advance a UX-centered mindset not only in the engineering team but across the multiple teams by engaging people in the co-creation workshops and the product development process.
A 98% optimist of life and a believer that technology empowers people's future. I developed an Alexa Skill with friends, "Massage Manager" for the blind massagers to confidently set up and manage their message sessions so that their labor can be fairly calculated and paid. You may find me climbing mountains, sketching the urban, or discussing a book with the bookworms of the Book Lover Oasis reading club I estabilished in Singapore. Writing and sketching are my ways to experience, connect, and influence the worlds.
